Designed, manufactured and assembled in Scotland, precision made, yet robust. Manufactured to the highest quality by a company active in the aerospace industry, using only the best and most suited materials. To include, beryllium copper, brass, stainless steel and aircraft grade aluminium. Finished ( as is the matching bracket ) in blue anodise, with integral translucent reservoir. All grades of material are selected to allow sharp finish definition. Valve body surfaces are finished to N5 ( an extremely smooth machine finish ). The moving sensor is supported by a spindle which is cradled by bearing surfaces. Machine tolerances in places, are to one thousandth of a mil and in some instances no negative or positive tolerances are permitted. Repeatable tolerances assured in volume production are within 2 microns. A Q.A. department certified to optimum ISO 9002 ensures valve and manufacturing quality to the highest standard. The valve is designed to be robust, yet reliable and accurate in operation. Valve integrity has not and will not be compromised.

The dosing valve has been exhaustively tested at each stage of development, modification and prototype, to ensure reliability and accurate dosing, to include a continuous run 24/7 full engine bed test (see photographs by clicking this link). Separate vibration tests were also carried out to ensure valve dosing accuracy would be maintained in instances of extreme vibration, either engine or road induced

CONSTRUCTION

TESTING

INSTALLATION

Installation of the valve and mounting bracket is very simple, taking only a few minutes. All that remains is for the fuel line to be redirected ( if required ) and reconnected.

METHOD of the OPERATION of the E.L.N. Dosing Valve

The valve is a purely mechanical device and there is no need for the end user to have any detailed understanding of its operation.. For those with an inquisitive mind you will find more information here.

HISTORY of the DEVELOPMENT of the E.L.N. Dosing Valve

The final design of the valve evolved after several years of development and testing.
